    pecan pieces

    chocolate flavored candy coating

    Melt butter in a 15 x 10 x 1 inch jellyroll pan.

    Spread pecans evenly in pan.

    Bake at 300 degrees for 30 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes.

    Place candy coating in top of a double boiler; bring water to a boil.

    Reduce heat to low; cook until coating melts.

    Cool 2 minutes; add pecans, and stir until coated.

    Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto wax paper.

    MICROWAVE DIRECTIONS: Place butter in a 1-quart glass bowl; microwave at high for 50 seconds or until melted.
