  • 3 Tbsp
    honey
  • 1 Tbsp
    soy-sauce, low-sodium
  • 1 tsp
    garlic powder
  • 4 c
    honey-nut toasted rice or corn cereal squares
  • 6 c
    pretzels, mini
  • 1 c
    peanuts, dry roasted
  • 1 c
    candy coated chocolate pieces

How To Make snack mix (diabetic-friendly)

    PREHEAT: Oven to 250 degrees F. LINE: Baking pan with foil.

    IN: Small mixing bowl, whisk together sesame oil, honey, soy sauce, and garlic powder.

    ON: Prepared pan, combine cereal squares, pretzels, and peanuts. ADD: Oil mixture and toss with cereal mixture. BAKE: 25 minutes, stirring once.
