- 2 1/2 pkg
- baker's semi sweet chocolate (20 squares - divided)
- 1 - 8oz pkg
- cream cheese, room temperature
- decorations: chopped nuts or sprinkles
WHAT YOU NEED...
1MELT 8 chocolate squares. Follow pkg instructions for microwave, or, melt using double-boiler.
2BEAT softened cream cheese with mixer until creamy. Blend in melted chocolate. Refrigerate until firm.
3SHAPE into 36 balls. (Approx 1") Place on waxed paper covered baking sheet.
4Melt remaining chocolate. Use fork to dip Truffles in chocolate; return to baking sheet. Decorate, then refrigerate 1 hour.
TIP: I decorate immediately after dipping each one, before it sets up. You can also use a spot of cake decorator frosting to hold your decorations of choice as well.
