Salted Nut Bars

I had these at my daughters one christmas and asked for the recipe. we love them year round.:)

Ingredients

3 c
all purpose flour
1 1/2 c
brown sugar, firmly packed
1 tsp
salt
1 c
butter, softened
2 c
mixed nuts
1 c
corn syrup, light
4 Tbsp
butter, room temperature
12 oz
butterscotch chips
2 Tbsp
water

Directions

Combine flour, brown sugar, salt and 1 cup of butter. Blend well.
Press into an ungreased 15x10 jelly roll pan.
Bake at 350* for 10-12 minutes.

Remove from oven and sprinkle nuts over crust.
set aside.

Combine syrup, butter, water and butterscotch chips in pan, Boil 2 minutes, stirring constantly. Pour over nuts.
Bake for 10 to 12 minutes more. Cool. and cut into bars. enjoy. xoxoxo
