Ingredients

  • 16 salted pretzel rods (7 1/2" long)
  • 1 - 12 oz packages semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 2 teaspoons vegetable oil
  • 1 - 14 oz packages square caramel candies, unwrapped
  • 2 tablespoons hot water

How To Make salted caramel chocolate pretzel's

  • Step 1
    Line 2 large baking sheets with waxed paper. Arrange pretzel rods 2" apart on 2 baking sheets.
  • Step 2
    In the microwave safe bowl, combine chocolate & oil; microwave on HIGH in 30 second intervals, stirring, until melted smooth. Let cool 5 minutes. Transfer to a zip lock bag; snip 1/8" hole in one corner. Drizzle chocolate over all of each pretzel rod. Refrigerate until firm, 20 minutes.
  • Step 3
    Meanwhile, in a large microwave safe bowl, mix caramels & hot water; microwave on HIGH in 30 second intervals, stirring, until smooth; let stand until cool enough to handle. Transfer to a zip lock bag; snip 1/8" hole in one corner. Drizzle caramel over all of each pretzel rod. Refrigerate until firm, 20 minutes.
