Razzled Dazzled Nuts !

This is an easy, unusual and wonderful recipe for snacking! We have this for watching movies, sporting events and parties.

The zing of the flavor combinations is just incredible!

I dedicate this recipe to my cousin Harry Salzer.... He was a unique and very loving person who always wanted to be Razzled or Dazzled by all things in life! Miss you Harry! xo

egg white (beaten until very frothy)
1/2 tsp
sea salt
1 tsp
each: lemon and orange zest
1 tsp
each: lemon and orange juice
3/4 c
dark brown sugar
2 c
whole pecans
1/4 tsp
ground cayenne pepper
1/2 tsp
ground black pepper
1 pkg
(4 ounces) cherry raisinets
1/2 c
dried cranberries
1 pkg
(5 ounces) brach's almond supremes (chocolate covered almonds)

Directions Step-By-Step

Preheat oven to 300 degrees.

Spay cookie sheet with cooking spray, set aside until needed.
Finely grate the lemon and orange zest.
Beat egg white until very frothy. Add the lemon and orange juices and zests along with the brown sugar and sea salt.
Add the pecans and stir and coat well.

Place on coated cookie sheet. Place in oven. Bake for 30 minutes. Stir the nuts around in cookie sheet while baking at least 4-5 times. Remove from oven, sprinkle with peppers. Let cool completely.
Pour into a bowl and add remaining ingredients, stirring gently.

Serve or place in airtight container until ready to serve.
