Ingredients
| 1 1/3 c | peanut butter |
| 1 1/3 c | graham crackers, crushed |
| 2 stick | margarine or butter,melted |
| 1 tsp | pure vanilla extract |
| 1 box | powdered sugar (1 pound box) |
| 1/3 | block paraffin (it is not very much, just makes the chocolate set better, candy bars have wax in them) |
| 12 oz | bag semi sweet chocolate chips |

Directions
Mix peanut butter, margarine, vanilla in large bowl. Mix in graham crackers and powdered sugar with hands until stiff. Form into bite size balls.Melt chocolate chips and paraffin in top pot of a double boiler. (with simmering water in lowest pot) Dip peanut butter balls into melted chocolate with toothpick and put on wax paper to dry.

I have used butter and I really liked them. My Mother in law thinks margarine works better. But I like butter too. I just melt the butter and then let it cool. Make sure you add as I said in the directions. Sometimes it seems softer than other times. I add the crumbs a little at a time and mix well until it makes good balls.

Paraffin is wax. You can find it on the canning isle. I have heard of people that wouldn't put it because it is wax, but the chocolate doesn't firm up and look shiny if you don't use it. I have heard of some people using shortning but it just doesn't work as well for me. Let me know if you try them.

Thank you Lisa. I can't wait to try these. I like Crisco better than Paraffin, so I think I will try some with that and see how they work out! Also have you ever used Chunky peaut butter? I love peanuts and was wondering if that would work instead of creamy. I might have to try that too!
