I call theses truffles in disguise. Easy to make and yummy in your tummy as my kids say.

Once you dip them in the white chocolate you can customize them with any holiday sprinkles to fit your occasion. Enjoy!

What can I say, these are just plain addictive! Anyone can make these simple treats - kids, non-cooks, even bachelors! (It's true, I've seen it with my own eyes.) But don't plan on eating just one...


1-18oz. pkg
oreo cookies (regular size, 3 rows of cookies)
1-8oz. pkg
cream cheese-block
4 oz
white chocolate almond bark

Directions Step-By-Step

Add oreos to food processor and blend until fine.
Add cream cheese to oreo crumbs and blend until dough-like.
Chill mixture for 15 minutes then roll into bite-size balls. Chill balls for 15 minutes.
Melt almond bark in microwave according to package directions. Dip chilled oreo balls in melted chocolate using fork so chocolate can "drip off". Set covered cookie balls onto waxed paper and let set aprox. 30 minutes. If using sprinkles or decorative sugars do so before chocolate sets. I usually do a dozen at a time sprinkling after each dozen.

Oh...sorry......I would think if you crush the cookies with a rolling pin ....(inside a freezer zip lock...heavier ones), then maybe use a hand mixer to combine the two, it'd work...just take a little longer, that's all...but I honestly don't see why that wouldn't work!!! I'm not sure if they'd fly out of the bowl when you mix them you have a stand mixer with a splash guard?

No...just put the cookies in, and pulse your.F food processor until the coolies are all fine crumbs... then what I do, is cut the block of cream cheese in four pieces, and put the pieces on the top of cookie crumbs, and kee begin pulsing will be easy to see when its ready because it'll begin to lump up and turn into one big ball of dough-like texture thats really easy to use a cookie baller and then roll onto small balls to dip into melted chocolate... It also helps to chill the balls BEFORE you dip them into the melted chocolate!! GOOD LUCK!

How can I make these without a food processor? I'm guessing to put the cookies in a ziploc bag and beat the tar out of them, then add the cream cheese and mix very well?
