1In 2 qt sauce pan, add sugar milk coco.Cook to soft ball stage. Remove from fire. You can check to see if it is at softball stage by dripping a small amount into a small cup of cold water. Take your finger and ball it up. If it makes a ball it is softball stage..progress to next step.
2Add butter, vanilla, nuts. Beat by hand til it thichens some.( If you submerge the pan into cold water as you beat the mixture it will thicken up faster. Just be careful not to get water into mixture)
3Then spread on buttered plate or pan. Let cool. This is excellent with popcorn on a Saturday Family Night.
