Since Dad was a beekeeper Mom used a lot of honey in recipes. Here is a quick snack for kids or candy for the holidays she used to make.

Ingredients

1/2 c
powdered sugar
1/2 c
peanut butter
1/2 c
honey
1 1/2 c
rice crispie cereal
1/2 c
raisins
chocolate sprinkles, coconut, or powdered sugar to roll candies in

Directions Step-By-Step

Place a sheet of waxed paper on a cookie sheet so candies won't stick.
Combine powdered sugar, honey and peanut butter in a medium bowl. Stir until mixed well. Stir in cereal and raisins.

Using hands, shape mixture into 1-inch balls. Roll balls in sprinkles, coconut, or powdered sugar and place on a cookie sheet.

Refrigerate for 1 hour. Cookies should feel firm when touched. Serve right away or place in tightly covered container and store in refrigerator.
