Years ago, my grandma always gave a box of this (the store-bought version) to my Mom for Christmas. I remember it was a bit pricey - remember the department store candy in the fancy boxes? Later, we found a recipe that is very close to what I remember as a child.

Stove Top


1 - 12 oz pkg
chocolate chips (semi sweet or dark)
1 pkg
marshmallows, mini
1 can(s)
sweetened condensed milk
1 c
pecan halves

Directions Step-By-Step

Melt chips at 150 degrees. Stir in milk. When completely combined, add nuts and marshmallows. Stir lightly.
Drop by teaspoonfuls onto parchment paper OR spread entire mixture carefully in a 9 x 13 buttered and parchment lined pan. Let set completely or chill. Cut in squares (if you used the 9 x 13 pan)
The secret here is not to let your chocolate get too hot. You don't want the marshmallows to melt away.
