When I was a child, my mother would make this treat to send to school for Halloween. It is now a year-round favorite at my house, for when I'm in the mood for something salty and sweet! Enjoy!

Blue Ribbon Recipe

Want a fun snack mix for Halloween? Well, this is festive and has a nice mix of flavors and textures. The salty popcorn and peanuts are a tasty contrast to the sweet candy corn and chocolate candies. We loved the candy corn. They're slightly chewy compared to the crunchiness of the mix. Fun for a movie night or on Halloween.

How To Make halloween crunch

Test Kitchen Tips
If you want to be very festive, use Halloween M&M's. The quantity of M&M's, candy corn, and peanuts is really a matter of taste. Use the guidelines provided, but add more/use less as desired.
  • Popped popcorn in a bowl.
    1
Pop the popcorn according to the packaging. Remove from original packing and place in a large bowl.
  • Nuts, candy corn, and M&M's added to bowl of popcorn.
    2
Add candies and peanuts. Stir popcorn to mix all the goodies.
  • Remaining Halloween Crunch in a plastic resealable bag.

If placing into individual packages for a party or Halloween, I'd place them into Ziploc baggies or treat bags or leave in a large party bowl.

NOTE: People do have peanut allergies, so if having a party make the first batch separate before handling peanuts, and then make the other batch. Enjoy!!!!!!
