Glady's Mamie Eisenhower Fudge

Given to me by Glady Kilgore.
When Mamie Eisenhower came to the White House, she brought along a recipe for fudgethat called for marshmallow creame. Her candy was so creamy the president reportedly called it the "million dollar" fudge.

1=12 oz pkg
semi-sweet chocolate chips
1=12 oz
milk chocolate chips
1= 7 oz jar(s)
marshmallow cream
2 tsp
vanilla extract
1 1/2 c
chopped walnuts
4 c
1 12oz can(s)
skimmed evaporated milk
2 Tbsp

Directions Step-By-Step

Line a 13x9x2 inch baking pan with foil,extending the foil over the edge of pan. Lightly butter foil; set a side. In large bowl, combine the Semi chocolate chips,milk chocolate chips,marshmallow creame,walnuts, and vanilla.
In heavy large saucepan, stir together the sugar,evaporated skimmed milk and butter. Bring to boil over moderate heat, stirring constantly with wooden spoon to dissolve sugar. ( Avoid splashing mixture onto side of pan.) Lower the heat to moderately low. Stir and boil for 12 minutes. remove from heat.
Carefully pour the boiling mixture over the Chothe block of fudge out colate mixture. Stir until the chocolate is melted and the mixture is creamy and well combined. Quickly turn the fudge into prepared pan. While fudge is warm, use tip of a small knife to score into 1 inch squares.
When fudge is firm, lift it out of pan; cut into squares. To store cover tightly and refrigerate.
