Not only is this fudge easy, but it will remind you of the old fashioned fudge that was cooked in a big skillet and you had to stir until it got to the right consistency!! All our family loves it and my sister usually makes up several batches for us and some to give as gifts.

Ingredients For easy old fashioned microwave fudge

  • 1 stick
    butter (not margarine)
  • 1 box
    confectioners' sugar
  • 1/2 c
    cocoa powder
  • 1/4 c
    milk
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 1/2 c
    pecans

How To Make easy old fashioned microwave fudge

  • 1
    Mix confectioner's sugar and cocoa powder in a medium sized microwave safe bowl, cut butter into pieces and place on top of mixture. Pour milk over mixture. DO NOT STIR. Place bowl in microwave and cook on high for 1 (one) minute; remove and stir mixture; stir in the vanilla and pecans; put back in microwave, cook on high for 1 (one) minute; remove from microwave, stir mixture until all the butter is melted, pour into small pan to set. Does NOT need to be refrigerated.
