Im not sure how I got this or where I got it from but I've been making it like this for years, I put it on my chocoflan over my cookies and the kids love to eat it just by itself, its really good and you could use it for many recipes...

1 cansweetened condensed milk
How To Make dulce de leche

1Remove wrapper from can and put can of sweetened condensed milk in pot with lid bring to boil and let boil for 2 hours if more water is needed keep adding BOILING water, let cool completely before opening

2TIP*You can also use a pressure cooker and reduce time by half and still get same results

3TIP* you can also do several cans at a time ( I would do max about 4 at a time) and increase your time by about an hour each additional can
