It needs to Boil to SOFT BOIL STAGE @ 240 on your thermometer. after this its a cinch to make.
TIP:Measure all ingredients out and set a-side and have ready to pour into mixture, as this sets fast..
- 3/4 C
- 2 C
- 1 Sm Jar
- (7 oz) marshmallow cream
- 1/2 tsp
- 1 C
- pecans or walnuts, chopped
- variation: add peppermint pieces.
MEASURE ALL INGREDIENTS,
HAVE ALL INGREDIENTS READY BEFORE YOU START.
BRING TO ROLLING BOIL THE FOLLOWING;
@ 240 DEGREES (SOFT BALL) REMOVE FROM HEAT.
WORK FAST. ADD THE FOLLOWING
In Heavy Pan, Bring to rolling Boil to ( 240 degrees soft Ball Stage) on candy thermometer. (TIP: be sure to use Candy thermometer)
REMOVE FROM HEAT, immediately & now you must Work Fast.
Vanilla, and Nuts, mix well, till mixture is no longer glossy.
Spoon by teaspoonsful onto Wax-paper or Parchment paper.
Place in Airtight Storage Containers.
Variation: you can add pepermint pieces.
