YES!!! I said dirt and worms, this dessert takes me back to my childhood when I and my brother attened AWANA (church activity for kids) The mothers would make treats for all the towns kids (which my town was only 1,200) and we would snack at church, and my favorite dessert out of all the things they ever made, where these dirt and worms in dixie cups. I'd get so excited when I saw a cookie tray full of dixie cups, cuz I knew someone made em! So I now am a mom, and make this for my little men, who of course LOVE to get messy! This is the perfect and easiest summer or Halloween dessert to make.
In a large bowel. Mix pudding and mix with a whisk for two min. set aside and let thicken.
Take oreos and scrap out the middle frosting, and place aside. Place all oreo cookies in a gallon sized ziplock baggie, and roll with a rolling pin to crush cookies into fine crumbs.
Set up dixie cups and place alittle cookies(DIRT) in the bottom. then add pudding (half way) then add alittle more dirt, and top off with some pudding, leaving room for the Top layer of Dirt, add a worm or two, and repeat till all cups are full!!!!! Place in the Fridge untill ready to serve! Enjoy!!!!!
