I found a recipe & adjusted it to my liking & it is delicious!!
I make it at Christmas & all thru the year!

- 4 c
- 1 c
- white syrup
- 1 c
- hot water
- egg whites, stiffly beaten
- 1 tsp
- vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 c
- pecans, in pieces
1Mix sugar , syrup, water in large saucepan. bring to a boil & boil until it makes crackle sound when dropped by spoon in cup of cold water.
2Beat egg whites in large bowl til stiff with electric mixer,
3When syrup is done , pour slowly into beaten egg whites. Beat until mixture loses its gloss, then add vanilla & nuts.
Pour into lightly buttered or spray Pam 9x13 pan. cut into squares & serve.
