CAROLS CHOCOLATE CARAMEL WALNUT FUDGE

THIS IS A VERY SIMPLE FUDGE RECIPE. I LIKE TO MAKE IT WITH MILK CHOCOLATE CHIPS. THE CARAMEL MAKES IT A LITTLE DIFFERENT.

Ingredients

3 c
semi-sweet chocolate chips or milk chocolate chips -[18 oz.]
1 can(s)
sweeten condensed milk -[14oz.]--[not evaporated]
dash(es)
salt
1 c
walnut pieces, chopped
1/2 c
caramel ice cream topping
1 1/2 tsp
vanilla extract

Step-By-Step

1FOIL LINE AN 8 OR 9 INCH SQUARE PAN.

2IN A SAUCEPAN, OVER LOW HEAT, MELT THE CHOCOLTE CHIPS WITH THE SWEETENED MILK AND DASH OF SALT.

3REMOVE FROM HEAT; STIR IN THE WALNUTS, CARAMEL TOPPING AND VANILLA.

4SPREAD EVENLY INTO THE SQUARE PAN.

5CHILL 2 HOURS OR UNTIL FIRM.

6TURN FUDGE ONTO A CUTTING BOATF; PEEL OFF FOIL AND CUT INTO SQUARES.
