liquid whipping cream
Bring ingredients to a boil in a large pot (reserve 1 cup of whipping cream). Stir only with a wooden spoon.
While boiling add 1 more cup of liquid Whipping Cream - adding very slowly. Keep boiling on low heat. Cook for 2 hrs. Thermometer should stay @ 250 degrees while cooking.
Add 1 tsp. vanilla, and finely chopped nuts if desired. Pour onto buttered cookie sheet (with lip). Cut before it gets hard. Wrap pieces in wax paper
