Wine Cake

A friend gave me this recipe a very long time ago. It's delicious. this is the original recipe as she gave it to me,I do not add the nutmeg,I thought it would be too strong,but that's just me. Sometimes i use a butter cake,both are good.

pinch tips: How to Fold Ingredients


1 lemon cake mix
1 small box instant vanilla pudding
4 eggs
3/4 c gallo sherry
3/4 c crisco oil
1/2 t. nutmeg


1/3 c sherry
2 c confectioner's sugar

Directions Step-By-Step

Mix cake ingredients together 10 mins at med speed of mixer.Turn into greased and floured Bundt pan.Bake 350 deg 1 hour.Cool 10 mins.
Pierce cake with fork while still warm and sprinkle with glaze.
