Ingredients

1 1/2 c
whole wheat flour
1/3 c
almond flour
1/3 c
turbano sugar
1 tsp
baking soda
1/2 tsp
salt
1 tsp
cinnamon
5 Tbsp
coconut oil
1/2 c
unsweetened applesauce
1 tsp
vanilla extract
2 medium
ripe bananas
2 Tbsp
almond milk
1/4 c
chopped walnuts

Step-By-Step

1Preheat oven to 300F and lightly grease a 9x9 glass baking pan.

2Combine all dry ingredients except for the walnuts in a large mixing bowl and whisk until they are well-mixed.

3Process the bananas in a food processor until smooth, then add oil, applesauce, and vanilla, processing until they are well mixed.

4Fold the banana mixture into the dry mix, adding the almond milk one tablespoon at a time until you have reached the proper consistency. Fold in the walnuts (optional)

5Transfer the batter into the pan and bake for 40-45 minutes, or until the cake is firm and a toothpick comes out clean.
