I'm confused as to whether what's on top is a "sauce" or frosting. The picture looks as if it's a frosting, but I've been stirring it on the stove forever, and I don't think it will ever sit on top of the brownies like the picture. I bake for residents in my apartment complex, and I don't want to serve something that requires special dishes and forks, etc. so a sauce isn't what I need. Am I doing something wrong?
