Can anyone tell me how many layers you have frosted with this recipe.
I just baked Cassie's 3 layer chocolate cake recipe in 7 layers. Chocolate Sour Cream Cake - Sooo Moist (I am obsessed with the "little layer" yellow cake with cooked chocolate icing.) My husband's favorite is chocolate cake with white icing. So I am improvising and creating a chocolate cake version.
Thank you for taking time to let me know how many layers Freda's frosting will frost.

Freda, I just now realized that my head has been unplugged! I see that it is as you said, melted and cooled not melted and cooked! Kindly disregard my two previous nit whit questions. I'm looking forward to serving this today! Thanks for the post.

Freda, I want to try this for my daughter's birthday today. What do you mean by "cooking" the chocolate? I understand melting it, but I am unsure what you mean by cooking, or how to go about it. Help!
