Mix cake mix according to directions. Pour half the batter in 13x9 inch cake pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. Melt caramels butter, and milk. Pour over top of partially baked cake. Add chocolate chips and nuts. Pour remaining cake batter over mixture covering caramel mixture; chips and nuts. Bake at 350 degrees for another 20 minutes.
When cake is cooled, I frost with icing and add pecan pieces.
