I like this recipe because it doesn't make a huge cake, so it's good for couples or small gatherings!

How To Make trisha's butter cake

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. In your mixer combine all ingredients until smooth and creamy. Pour the batter into a greased and floured 9x5 loaf pan. Bake for approximately 50-55 minutes, or until cake is golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Great alone, or add berries and whipped cream!
