Too Easy Pineapple Angel Food Cake

I found this recipe on Pinterest years ago, and it has become one of my husband's favorite treats. He prefers to warm the cake in the microwave each time he has a slice, so I don't put the topping on it right away, unless I'm taking it to a potluck. We just cut each slice and serve with Redi-Whip, Cool Whip, or ice cream as needed!

Ingredients

1 box
angel food cake mix
1 can(s)
crushed pineapple in juice (20 oz.)
whipped topping

Step-By-Step

1Preheat oven to 350.
2Pour cake mix into medium sized mixing bowl.
3Add can of crushed pineapple.
4Stir together. It will start to foam and fizz a bit, which is kind of cool.
5Pour batter into 13 X 9 in. baking dish.
6Place dish in oven and bake for 30 minutes, or until cake is golden brown and done.
7Allow to cool completely. Cover with whipped cream or Cool Whip.
