Tomato Soup Cake

This is my favorite cake. I always asked my Mother to make it for me for my birthday. It like a spice cake. Some people like it with frosting but I like it without.

Ingredients

1 can(s)
tomato soup with 1 teaspoon baking soda stirred in it
1 tsp
cinnamon, ground
1/4 tsp
clove, ground
1/2 tsp
nutmeg
1 c
sugar
2 Tbsp
butter, room temperature or oleo
1 1/2 c
sifted all purpose flour

Directions Step-By-Step

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Prepare 8x8 or 9x9 cake pan with baking spray or butter dusted with flour.

Cream oleo, sugar and spices. Add soup with soda in it and beat. Add flour a little at a time. Raison and or nuts can be added. Raisons are my favorite add in.

Bake about 30 minutes or until toothpick comes out dry.
