Ingredients

2 c sugar
2 c all purpose flour
1/2 c mashed sweet potatoes
3 eggs
1 1/2 c wesson oil
2 tsp baking powder
2 tsp baking soda
2 tsp vanilla
2 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp allspice
1 tsp nutmeg
CREAM CHEESE FROSTING:
1 box or 1 pound powdered sugar
1 8 ounce cheese cheese softened
1 stick softened butter
1 tsp vanilla
1 c chopped nuts (as you know i prefer walnuts.

Found this recipe in one of my mom's old cookbooks, I have never make it but I'm going to has soon as I can. I love sweet potatos.

 

Directions

Mix all ingredients together and pour into 3 greashed and floured cake pans. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes.

mix all ingredients together for frosting and frost when cake cools.
