This sheetcake is decadent and with Valentine's Day rapidly approaching, it makes a lovely dessert for that special occasion!

Ingredients

1 c
flour
1 stick
butter, melted
3/4 c
pecans, chopped
1 c
powdered sugar
8 oz
cream cheese, softened
1 large
container cool whip
2 c
sugar
12 Tbsp
corn starch
2 c
water
8 Tbsp
strawberry jello
1 qt
frozen strawberries

Directions Step-By-Step

This is made in three layers. The first layer: Mix the flour, butter, and pecans and press in a 9 x 13" pan. Bake for 8 - 10 minutes or until lightly browned at 350 degrees. Let cool.

Second Layer: Mix powdered sugar, cream cheese, and Cool Whip. Spread over cooled crust.

Third Layer: 2 C. sugar, cornstarch, water and strawberry jello. Boil until all of this thickens and looks clear. Add dash of salt and let cool. Add 1 quart frozen strawberries to this mixture; cool. Spread over 2nd layer. Top with large container of Cool Whip.
