Bake cake according to instructions. While cake is still hot punch holes and pour evenly with strawberry jello mixture: dissolved jello in hot water. Drain juice from strawberries. Add enough ice water to strawberry juice to yield 1/2 cup add to jello. Pour evenly over cake. Cool in refrigerator until jello is congealed. Fold strawberries into whipped topping and top the cake. Keep refrigerated.
