Strawberry Daquiri Cake
This cake came about from People commenting on the Margarita Cake I had submitted. Wondering how it would taste with Strawberry instead. Here is my version of it.
- 1 box
- white cake mix
- 1 box
- (3.4 oz) vanilla instant pudding
- 1 can(s)
- frozen strawberry daquiri mix (thawed)
- 1 stick
- butter (softened)
- 1/4 c
- strawberry puree (made from frozen sliced strawberries in sugar, pureed in blender)
- 1 1/2-2 c
- powdered sugar (sifted)
- 1 Tbsp
- butter (melted)
- 2 Tbsp
- (or more depending on desired thickness) strawberry puree
1Preheat oven tp 350°. Grease & flour a bundt type cake pan. (I use bakers joy)
2Cream Butter & add Eggs one at a time. Add Daduiri Mix & Strawberry puree (see note). Mix Well.
3Add Cake & Pudding mixes & mix well.
4Pour into prepared pan & bake for 45 - 50 min or until done.
5Let cool about 15 minutes before turning out on to plate. let cool about another 10 minutes before Glaze is added.
7Stir powdered sugar, melted butter & strawberry puree together (1Tbs @ a time) Until Desired thickness. Drizzle over still warm cake.
8*Note* Completely thaw frozen Sliced Strawberries & mix in blender until puree'ed.
