This cake came about from People commenting on the Margarita Cake I had submitted. Wondering how it would taste with Strawberry instead. Here is my version of it.
white cake mix
(3.4 oz) vanilla instant pudding
frozen strawberry daquiri mix (thawed)
strawberry puree (made from frozen sliced strawberries in sugar, pureed in blender)
1 1/2-2 c
powdered sugar (sifted)
(or more depending on desired thickness) strawberry puree
1Preheat oven tp 350°. Grease & flour a bundt type cake pan. (I use bakers joy)
2Cream Butter & add Eggs one at a time. Add Daduiri Mix & Strawberry puree (see note). Mix Well.
3Add Cake & Pudding mixes & mix well.
4Pour into prepared pan & bake for 45 - 50 min or until done.
5Let cool about 15 minutes before turning out on to plate. let cool about another 10 minutes before Glaze is added.
7Stir powdered sugar, melted butter & strawberry puree together (1Tbs @ a time) Until Desired thickness. Drizzle over still warm cake.
8*Note* Completely thaw frozen Sliced Strawberries & mix in blender until puree'ed.
