Strawberry Angel Food Delight

Diane Springs

This is taken from a Weight Watcher recipe that I always liked, but I kind of de-Weight Watchered it! But, it can be made with Splenda, Sugar-Free jello and Sugar-Free Angel Food cake and you can save a bunch of points. It's up to you...either way, it's a good dessert and so showy, when made in a clear bowl!

pinch tips: How to Grease a Pan

angel food cake
middle-sized cool whip, lite
4 c
sliced fresh strawberries
1 large
strawberry jello
3 1/2 c
1/2 c

Directions Step-By-Step

Make your Strawberry Jello as usual, using only 3 1/2 cups of water. Set aside and cool. Do not let it gel!

Slice strawberries and pour 1/2 cup of sugar over them, stirring to coat. Set aside.
In a clear bowl, layer chunked up Angel Food cake, cooled Jello and 2 cups of the sliced strawberries. Add rest of cake, and layer again, ending with the entire carton of Cool Whip.

Let set for two hours or longer.
Remember - this recipe can be made totally sugar free.
