This is the first special cake I ever made by myself .... lol ... I was 9. I am much older now ... but I still love this cake recipe!!

Ingredients

1 pkg
white cake mix (not pudding style)
1 c
vegetable oil
1 c
club soda
3 large
eggs
1 pkg
pistachio pudding mix
1/2 c
nuts, chopped

FROSTING :

1 pkg
pistachio pudding mix
2 pkg
whipped topping mix
1 c
plus 1 tbsp. milk

Directions Step-By-Step

Preheat oven at 350 degrees.
Prepare one 13x9x2 baking pan with veg. shortening and flour.
Set aside.

Combine all cake ingredients.
Pour into prepared pan.
Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
Cool completely.

When cakes is completely cooled.
Using a electric hand mixer on low speed, mix together all ingredients until fluffy.
Frost cake.
Keep refridgerated until every piece is gobbled up!
