Spicy Pumpkin Nut Cake

I created this cake recipe by tweaking other recipes.The first time I made it, I sent it along with my husband to our church board meeting on a cool Fall Georgia evening. He said that everyone enjoyed & bragged on it.
Please know, this is NOT a very sweet cake. You may add 1/2 - 3/4 cup granulated sugar to the batter, if you prefer a sweeter cake.

Ingredients

1 box
butter flavored cake mix
1 box
pumpkin spice or vanilla pudding (4 oz.)
1/4 c
vegetable oil
4
eggs
1 can(s)
pumpkin (15 oz.)
1/4 c
water or milk
1 tsp
allspice, ground
2 tsp
cinnamon, ground, (may substitute equal amts. pumpkin pie spice for allspice & cinnamon
3/4 c
pecans, chopped
powdered sugar

Step-By-Step

1Mix & beat all ingredients together (except for powdered sugar.)

2Pour into a greased or sprayed Bundt pan.

3Bake at 350 for 55 minutes.

4Cool in pan 15 minutes before removing onto cake plate.

5Sprinkle desired amount of powdered sugar over cooled cake.
