I wanted to make a fresh fruit dessert so I decided I would try to put together a peach dessert.This cake is so moist it is almost wet.The icing is also peach and it is to die for.My hubby tasted the icing and said he could just eat a bowl of it and be satisfied.When he tried the cake and icing together he said this was maybe the best cake I have made.Thank You sweetie you are my biggest Fan.lol

Ingredients

2 box
yellow butter cake mix
6 large
eggs
11/3 c
water
1 c
2 medium finely chopped fresh peaches
2 box
3 oz.peach jello
2 dash(es)
cinnamon
2 stick
unsalted butter
PEACH FROSTING
3 Tbsp
milk (may need more)
5 c
powdered sugar(i used 6) with a 9in pan you will need the extra
1 pkg
8 oz.cream cheese
1 box
3 oz.peach jello
1 stick
soft unsalted butter

Directions

Mix cakes according to the box directions adding the cinnamon and fresh peaches.

Bake 4 layers using 9 inch pans sprayed with butter cooking spray.Bake about 25 minutes or until tooth pick inserted comes out clean.When done set aside and make your frosting.

PEACH FROSTING:

In a medium bowl cream the butter and cream cheese.

Add milk and vanilla and add 1 cup of sugar at a time.When you have it as thick as you want add the peach jello and using a mixer mix well.Add more milk if needed.

Frost your cake heavy between layers.Besure tho to leave enough for frosting the outside.Cake has to be put in the fridge until ready to serve and put leftovers back in the fridge. ENJOY!!!!!!

    Becky, Thank you so much for posting this recipe. It sounds & looks absolutely amazing. I love peaches. Thank you also for putting the (unsalted) butter. Most recipes don't have whether it is salted or unsalted. To me that is a big help. When I can get some peaches I will definitely try this cake. When I do I will post pics. for you. May GOD Bless.

    This cake sounds amazing and I want to try it for a family reunion this weekend. I have a question though.....all the ingredients listed, 2 bx cake mixes, 6 eggs, 2 bx jello, 2 stk butter, etc. all go in the cake part of the recipe? Just checking to be sure, it was specified in the directions. Thanks!

    Yes Joy just add the ingredients as listed.I probably need to go back and reword the directions.I was so excited about the cake i wrote the cake directions instead of saying follow cake directions add jello and peaches.Good Luck hope it turns out good for you.Did you see my DING DONG CAKE also.....Blessing's Becky
