Sock it to Me Cake- Pecan Free Version
I am allergic to nuts so I am constantly modifying recipes. Here's a Sock it to me cake recipe sans pecans. Enjoy!
package 18.25 ounce yellow cake mix
sour cream regular or reduced fat only
butter or margarine
Mix together the cake mix, sugar, oil, eggs and vanilla. Fold in the sour cream.
Put half the batter in a bundt pan.
Mix the brown sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle over the batter in the pan. Pout the reaminder of the batter on top.
Bake at 350 F or 175 C for 70 minutes or until tests done (I use the toothpick test. Stick a toothpick down in the cake. Dry toothpick=done cake)
Glaze: Mix ingredients and whisk or beat until smooth. Drizzle over the cake while still hot. The more the better for me :-)
