In a chilled bowl, whip together heavy cream, powdered sugar and vanilla. Whip on high speed of an electric mixer for 1-2 minutes. Stir in chopped snickers. Spread over cake. Sprinkle chopped peanuts over cake. Drizzle caramel and chocolate sauce on top. Chill.

I just made this cake for my husband's birthday. When I whipped the heavy whipping cream, vanilla and powered sugar it didn't thicken up and come together. I added the snicker's bars and poured it over the top. Does it set up and firm from being chilled in the fridge? Or have I done something wrong??
