Rhubarb Dumpcake

This is a creamy pudding like dessert that is good with whipping cream, a little heavy cream or icecream.
I made some changes to my grandma's Rhubarb Torte recipe and didn't really think torte fit the recipe so changed it to a dumpcake.

Ingredients

4 c
fresh rhubarb, washed and cut up
1 c
sugar
1 1/2 c
water, minus 1 teaspoon
1 tsp
vanilla
1 pkg
(3oz) strawberry jello
1 pkg
yellow cake mix
1 stick
butter, cut in small pieces
1 Tbsp
sugar
1 tsp
cinnamon
1 pinch
nutmeg

Step-By-Step

1In a bowl combine rhubarb, sugar, water, and vanilla.
2Sprinkle jello over this
3Put mixture in the bottom of a 9x13 inch pan.
4Sprinkle cake Mix on top of fruit mixture.
5Scatter butter pieces over cake mix.
6Sprinkle with mixture of sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
7Bake at 350 degrees for 45-60 minutes.
