Ingredients For red velvet cheesecake bars

24double stuf original oreo cookies (about 2 c), finely crushed

1/4 cbutter, melted

6 squaressemi-sweet baking chocolate, divided

3 - 8 oz. pkgcream cheese, room temperature

3/4 csugar
-
1 tsppure vanilla extract
-
3 lgeggs
-
1 bottlered food coloring
How To Make red velvet cheesecake bars

1Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

2Mix cookie crumbs & butter; press into bottom of 13 x 9" pan sprayed with cooking spray.

3Melt 4 chocolate squares as directed on package; pour into medium bowl. Set aside. Beat cream cheese, sugar & vanilla with mixer until well blended. Add eggs; beat just until blended. Remove 2 C batter; mix with melted chocolate & food coloring. Carefully spread over crust; cover with remaining plain batter.

4Bake 26 - 28 minutes or until center is almost set. Cool completely. Melt remaining chocolate; drizzlle over dessert. Refrigerate 4 hours.

5TO SERVE: Cut chilled dessert into 1 1/2" squares.
