3/4 csugar

1 tspbaking powder

1/4 tspsalt

3/4 cunsalted butter, softened

4 csliced fresh nectarines

1 cfresh blackberries

1 cfresh blueberries

1/4 choney

2 Tbspalmond flavored liqueur

1 tsporange zest

sweetened whipped cream
How To Make pound cake with berries and nectarines

1Preheat oven to 350F. Spray a 9x5 inch loaf pan with nonstick baking spray with flour. Set aside. In a medium bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, and vanilla. In a large bowl, stir together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Add butter and half of egg mixture to flour mixture; beat at low speed with an electric mixer until combined. Increase speed to medium high; beat until fluffy, approximately 1 minute. Scrape down sides of bowl, and add remaining egg mixture, 1/4 cup at a time, beating 30 seconds after each addition. Spoon batter into prepared pan, smoothing top with an offset spatula.

2Bake until a wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean, approximately 1 hour. Let cool in pan 10 minutes. Remove from pan, and let cool completely on a wire rack. Cut into slices. In a medium bowl, stir together nectarine, berries, honey, liqueur, and zest. Let stand 5 minutes. Serve over pound cake slices with whipped cream.
