This was my mother's version and was requested all the time whenever desserts were needed. Do not follow package directions or ingredients.

Ingredients

1
white or yellow cake mix
2 pkg
instant pistachio pudding
1/2 tsp
vanilla extract
4
eggs
1 cup
water, cold
1/2 cup
vegetable oil
1
cool whip container
crushed walnuts (optional)
green sprinkles (optional)
milk if needed

Step-By-Step

1Mix together cake mix adding one package instant pudding

2Bake at 350 degrees for 50-55 minutes I use a bundt pan for this.

3Once cooled mix 2nd package of pudding mix into Cool Whip adding milk if needed to make it easier to work with.

4Once done you can add sprinkles or top wih crushed walnuts
