Ingredients For pink lemonade birthday cake

  • CAKE INGREDIENTS:
  • 1 box
    (18.25 oz) pink lemonade cake mix or white cake mix dry (with pudding in the mixes)
  • 3 lg
    eggs
  • 1/3 c
    canola oil
  • 1 c
    water or when using white cake mix substitute with concentrated lemonade, (pink or regular), thawed (6 -oz.) don't add any water to the concentrated lemonade though)
  • 1/2 tsp
    red food coloring, if desired (white cake mix)
  • CAKE FROSTING:
  • 1 pkg
    8 oz. - whipped, regular or light cream cheese
  • 1 can
    14 - oz. sweetened condensed milk, (not evaported milk)
  • 1 can
    6 - oz. frozen pink lemonade concentrate, thawed but not diluted
  • 1 pkg
    (8 -oz.) cool- whip, extra creamy, thawed
  • 1/2 tsp
    red food coloring, if desired

    NOTE: PINK LEMONADE CAKE MIXED ARE ONLY AVAILABLE CERTAIN TIMES OF THE YEAR... CAKE DIRECTIONS: Follow directions on cake mix box...paying close attention to my directions please. !.) 1 Cake mix 2.) 3 Eggs 3.) 1/3 Cup Oil 4.) 1 Cup Water OR 6 ounces frozen lemonade (thawed), (NOT reconstituted with water.) 5.) 1/2 tsp. red food coloring (white cake mix). optional Prepare desired cake pans by spraying with 'Bakers' Joy'. Bake @ 325 degrees F for 30 to 35 minutes or until tooth pick comes out clean. Cool completely on baking racks or in refrigerator.

    FROSTING: COMBINE: CREAM CHEESE UNTIL LIGHT AND FLUFFY. INCORPORATE: SWEETENED CONDENSED MILK, (NOT EVAPORATED MILK). ADD: THAWED, PINK OR REGULAR LEMONADE CONCENTRATE UNTIL SMOOTH AND CREAMY. (lemonade NOT reconstituted with water.) ADD: RED FOOD COLORING, IF DESIRED. GENTLY: STIR IN EXTRA CREAMY 'COOL-WHIP' TOPPING. (REFRIGERATE: FROSTING FOR A FEW MINUTES OR UNTIL ALMOST SET, IF DESIRED.) (IT WILL HELP IT SPREAD ON CAKE A LITTLE BETTER.) FROST COOLED CAKE: (AND DECORATE IF DESIRED.) REFRIGERATE: LOOSELY BUT COVERED FOR 1 HOUR OR OVERNIGHT. STORE: LEFTOVERS IN AIRTIGHT COVERED CAKE CARRIER IN REFRIGERATOR. YUMMY CAKE AND FROSTING!
