Pineapple Cake With Pineapple Glaze

1 pineapple cake mix
1 small box vanilla pudding mix
4 eggs
1/3 cup oil
20 oz. can crushed pineapple, take 1 cup out to use for glaze
1/3 cup butter
1 cup crushed pineapple
1-1/2 cups powder sugar

Directions Step-By-Step

Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease and flour Bundt pan. Set aside 1 cup of crushed pineapple for glaze.
In a large mix bowl combine cake mix, pudding mix, eggs, oil and remaining pineapple. Mix on medium speed for 3 minutes. Pour into prepared pan. Bake for 50 to 60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
For glaze; in small saucepan melt butter add the 1 cup crushed pineapple and powder sugar, stir until sugar is dissolved. Spoon glaze over cooled cake.

So very good! Everyone loved it on Labor Day! I used French Vanilla Cake Mix and French Vanilla Pudding. Didn't drain the pineapple, turned out very moist and yummy. Added just a dash of cinnamon to the glaze. Perks it up...

Thanks Donna, I didn't use the juice but it came out great. Everyone loved it. It was the first thing to go at the dinner party.

I added the juice in mine and it turned out great.

Hello, was I suppose to use the juice from the pineapple in the cake? It was kinda thick but I'm not a baker so thought that would be okay. If I am to use the juice, my cake in the oven is doomed. Thanks
