- 1 betty crocker super moist yellow cake mix
- 1 stick melted butter
- 3 eggs
- 1 - 20 oz can crushed pineapple with juice
1Add cake mix to mixing bowl, add melted butter and eggs. Strain pineapple juice and then add pineapple to bowl. Add milk to juice to make a total of 1 cup liquid, add to mix.
Beat together with mixer for 2 mins.
2Spray a 13 X 9 pan with cooking spray, pour in cake batter and bake 350 for 35 mins.
When cooled completely, frost with fluffy frosting shown below.
3Fluffy Frosting: in small saucepan over medium heat, cook 1/2 cup milk and 2 1/2 Tablespoons of flour. Whisking constantly until thickened. Add 1 teaspoon vanilla. Set aside to cool completely.
In a medium bowl, with mixer beat 1 stick butter and 2/3 cup sugar for 3 minutes until light and fluffy. Add cooled mixture and beat for an additional minute. Frost the cooled pineapple cake.
