sugar
1 3/4 c
all purpose flour
3/4 c
special dark cocoa powder
1 1/2 tsp
baking powder
1 1/2 tsp
baking soda
1 tsp
salt

egg
1 c
milk
1/2 c
vegetable oil
2 tsp
vanilla extract
1 c
boiling water

GLAZE

2/3 c
powdered sugar
1 Tbsp
special dark cocoa powder
1 1/2 Tbsp
water
1/2 tsp
vanilla extract

Directions Step-By-Step

Heat oven to 350°F. Grease and flour pan.

Stir together sugar, flour, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda and salt in large bowl. Add eggs, milk, oil and vanilla; beat on medium speed of mixer 2 minutes. Stir in boiling water (batter will be thin). Pour batter into prepared pan.

Bake 50 to 55 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes; remove from pans to wire racks. Cool completely. Top with powdered sugar and glaze
