Pear Custard Cake

- yellow cake mix
- 3 c
- chopped fresh pears, apples or rhubarb
- 1/2 can(s)
- 2 c
- heavy cream
1Preheat oven to 350. Prepare cake mix according to instructions.
2Pour cake mix into prepared 9x13 inch pan. Sprinkle chopped fruit evenly over cake mix. Sprinkle sugar over fruit. Pour cream evenly over all.
3Bake for 40 minutes or until puffy and lightly brown. Remove and let cool. Serve warm or refrigerate and serve cold.
