    creamy peanut butter
  • 3/4 c
    whipped cream cheese
  • 3 Tbsp
    margarine,softened
  • 1 1/2 c
    dark brown sugar

    eggs
  • 2 c
    sifted cake flour
  • 1 c
    malted milk powder
  • 1 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1 c
    half and half
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 2 c
    crushed peanut brittles,divided
  • CARAMEL FROSTING
  • 1 c
    whipped topping
  • 3/4 c
    cubed cream cheese
  • 1/2 c
    half and half
  • 1 c
    caramel ice cream topping

How To Make peanut brittle cake with caramel frosting

    Beat peanut butter,cream cheese and margarine at medium speed of an electric mixer until creamy;gradually add brown sugar and eggs,beating well.

    Combine flour and next 3 ingredients:stir well with a whisk.Add to peanut butter mixture alternately with half and half,beginning and ending with flour mixture. Mix batter just until blended after each addition. Stir in vanilla and 1 cup crushed peanut brittles.

    For the frosting;in a medium bowl,combine whipped topping,cream cheese,half and half and caramel ice cream topping;mix well until blended and creamy.Chill for 30 minutes.

    Pour batter into a 13-x 9-x 2-inch pan coated with cooking spray.Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.Cool completely on a wire rack.Spread the frosting over cooled cake and sprinkle with remaining crushed peanut brittles.
