Beverly's Notes:

My husbands favorite cake. Really easy to change just a few ingredients and get more awesome cake ideas.

Directions

1
Combine cake mix, oil, pudding mix, eggs and water. Mix according to package directions.
2
Pour batter in greased 9 x 13 baking pan.
3
Make 2 slices out of each peach slice and layer peaches on top of batter. Retain peach juice for next step.
4
Mix together sugar, cream cheese and peach juice; spread evenly over peaches. Sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar mixture.
5
Bake at 350° for 50-60 minutes. Store in refrigerator.

This looks good but #4 seems to be off a bit....and needs correcting? For those first-time folks making this recipe or perhaps wanting to make the recipe may not understand what it may intend to say.

I'm not answering for the original writer, but I believe it is drained peaches and retain the juice....because as you continue to read, you use the juice from the can. I also am assuming that you arrange all the "slices" on top of the cake/pudding mixture before pouring the juice mixture on top before baking.

Thank you. I tried to copy and paste the recipie in and made a few mistakes. Martha is correct it is not dried peaches, it is a can of peaches in juice and #4, which was a duplicate, is now removed. Also added the comment to retain the peach juice for the next step.
