Beat sugar, eggs (one at a time) and salad oil in large bowl, add evaporated milk and vanilla. Gradually incorporate the poppyseed filling.
Mix flour and baking soda and gradually add to wet ingredients. Mix thorougly.
Pour into greased tube or bundt pan. Bake in preheated 350 degree oven for one hour. Cool upside down if possible. Loosen edges w/knife if needed. Sprinkle with powdered sugar when cool. Serve and wait for the comments to start flowing.
